A while back, I spent a long time looking for a good program to mount .iso files. Finding a good one for free that doesn’t mess up my Vista installation (had some problems with Daemon Tools in the past) was difficult, but then I came across Virtual CloneDrive by SlySoft which has no fancy features and does only what it promises to do, without error. I highly recommend this, it’s how I installed Wubi from the .iso of Ubuntu. So the next time you need to mount an .iso file and don’t want to waste a CD-R, remember Virtual CloneDrive.

I know you think Linux is only for nerds, but it’s not, in fact it’s super awesome. Many people are only afraid of Linux because they’ve never tried it, that’s where Wubi comes in.
