Not so much tech news as it is just plain awesome. The Google Olympic Games Site integrates Google Maps with a few new Olympic-related features. You can see a map that shows medal counts over countries, or another map that shows all the Olympic stadiums. The last map is labeled “events” and doesn’t show anything yet but I’m sure we can expect it to be awesome. There’s also a gadget that you can add to your Google homepage that displays similar information, I know I’ll be watching it cheering for the USA.
