Apple just announced a brand new iPod shuffle.  It looks like an aluminum Apple Remote, minus all the buttons.  Is this really an improvement?

The iPaq was one of the last big introductions from Compaq before it merged with HP.  It was made fun of because its name sounded too much like Apple’s iMac, but the iPaq actually grew into quite a diverse family of gadgets.

Iomega is best known for the Zip drive, the superfloppy disk that seemed destined to become the storage medium of choice back in the 1990’s.  In 2000 though, Iomega actually made a little excursion from its storage roots into the burgeoning market for MP3 players.  It was briefly the talk of the town until Apple announced something called the iPod.

Why have companies abandoned the inline remote?  Have MP3 players gotten so small that a remote is unnecessary?

How quickly the sands of time move to cover up the past.  Rio, the company that invented the MP3 player, has disappeared from the public consciousness.  Let us remind you of its past greatness.

This MP3 player is amazing purely for how ridiculous it is.  It does however possess more than meets the eye.

Could this be an actual leaked photo of the new iPod nano?  According to Engadget, it is.  Well, it does mesh with what all the previous rumors said.  We will find out in a few short days whether or not this is the real thing.  September 9th can’t come quickly enough.

These rumors have been kicking around for awhile now, but there are some new developments as of late.  Also, I have spoken with certain resellers who provided some insight into a possible timeline for the release of possible new iPods and MacBooks.
