CherryPal annouces Bing netbook
We have heard from CherryPal before when it announced its C100 cloud desktop. Now, they have produced a netbook called the Bing. It remains to be seen whether or not this too will be vaporware.
The Bing is actually a pretty standard netbook, unlike the C100 which was very unique for a desktop. By the way, the C100 has now been replaced by the C114. Though neither has actually been produced yet.
The Bing has a 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor, 1GB RAM, 160GB hard drive, 10.2″ screen, 3 USB ports, 3-in-1 card slot, Wi-Fi, webcam and even optional Windows XP. CherryPal even promises 5 hour battery life.
Apparently all this will only cost you $250, although CherryPal is having a special where you can get both a Bing and a C114 for only $399. That sounds like a great deal, if these computers ever make it to market.

Hey folks,
The Cherrypal C114 is definatley out there, and I’ve chatted with people who had the C100. Levels of manufacture aren’t certain, but it is alive; I’ve got one.
