If you haven’t heard of the ToughBook CF-U1 then you’ve missed out on an awesome netbook. Like the rest in the ToughBook line, this machine can stand up to some ridiculous abuse. Read on to find out more about this rugged netbook.
Geared toward military use, it boasts 9 hours of battery life with its dual batteries and is water resistant. It uses a solid state 16GB drive, which is probably best for rugged uses. As with most netbooks these days it uses the atom processor. It also has a touch screen, which you might think would not be good for rugged uses, but you can bet it’s super tough. Probably the toughest netbook on the market right now it’ll run you a cool $2,500 for its rugged manliness .
