More Apple rumors to go along with the rumors about a new iPod being released on September 9th. Apparently after 2 years since that last major version upgrade Apple is finally getting ready to release iTunes 8. Rumored features are as follows:

• “Genius” – some kind of smart music recommendation engine. Think some kind of Pandora type engine built into iTunes
• New visualizations – who cares?
• Grid view for browsing
• TV shows in HD fro the iTunes store

Besides the genius feature it doesn’t really seem all that special, we’ll see, supposedly this new version of iTunes will be announced with the new iPods September 9th.
