Alright, so the rumors that the Dell Mini Inspiron would come out last Tuesday were not exactly legit, but the Internet is abuzz with new rumors this Friday morning. The new information is saying that rather than being the Dell E, the new mini laptop will be called the Dell Inspiron 910 and will be released on August 22nd. After being burned earlier this week I don’t know how much stock I would put into this rumor. Read on for technical specifications.

The new netbook will use Intel’s Atom 1.6GHz processor with choices of 512MB or 1GB or RAM. Storage will be varied with choices of 4, 8, or 16GB of flash. It will have WiFi 802.11b/g or n and a built in webcam, possibly 1.3 or .3 megapixels. Bluetooth will be an option, as well as 3G access. Best of all the netbook will be avalable with Ubuntu!!! or Windows XP. It could run Ubuntu Netbook Remix, but that is still in fairly early stages of development.
